We visited Hexgreave Hall 21st Aug for a cake and coffee break. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the staff who were very efficient. Sitting outside, we were brought menus very quickly. Our choice was delivered quickly in the same friendly manner. The food was tasty and delicious. We will definitely return.

We loved this cafe! The staff were so welcoming and friendly! The food is delicious, the setting is beautiful, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax and have lunch. We especially enjoyed the cakes!! Highly recommended :)

The portion sizes were minuscule and it was blatantly obvious that they were a rip off. I swear I’ve never been anywhere that serves such tiny cake sizes. And there were barely any fish fingers in the sandwich. The location is perfect and I’ll return again for this reason but I’ll only be buying a drink next time!
What a delicious brunch- I recommend the gorgeous cheeky muffin. Proper quality cheese, sausage and egg. Fab service, chatty staff and the cafe is set in the most gorgeous location. It's even got a complimentary jar of treats for dogs. Such a gorgeous coffee shop
Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here with my friends. The cafe it's self is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. Despite reading reviews to the contrary, I have to say the staff were warm, welcoming and very efficient. The food was delicious too. I would definitely recommend this place for a cuppa and cake or lunch. The menu is good and well priced.
