I booked afternoon tea for my mum's birthday treat, 3 adults and 2 children. It was absolutely gorgeous food, the service was 5* and it was such a lovely cosy atmosphere. The children had their own 'kids version' and it was very thought through / child friendly options. We even had our tea-pot refilled 3 times. Very good value for money and would definitely go back. Little gem of a cafe this is and worth a visit 100%
Oh my goodness I cannot recommend this place enough. I promised my boy afternoon tea and I stupidly didn’t book anywhere so I was ringing around places like a headless chicken. When they answered they said they can’t do afternoon tea as they have run out of scones but if we went they would put something together for us and they did! It was special and amazing, the bread was soft and my little 2 year old who is a fussy eater LOVED the food. The little sandwiches were so yummy and the ham was really good quality. Honestly the atmosphere in this place is lovely, a home from home feel. SUPER friendly staff. You can tell they really love what they do and appreciate their customers. I will be booking an afternoon tea again shortly!
Cosy, very small cafe. People continually looking in for seats but not staying. Usually quite busy which says everything.
I rarely do reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. Both my friend and I asked for soup. One with a roll and other with a toasted cheese sandwich. The soup was lovely but never have I been served such a small portion. We were both shocked it was like a small mugs worth in a reasonable sized soup bowl. Which was and looked ridiculous. Huge bap and the thinnest toasted sarnie. I asked if she had run out of soup as between us it was one portion she said no that's the portion. Never thought I'd be ripped off by a bowl of soup.
Very tasty sandwiches and wraps, the tea was served in proper China cups and tge cakes and cream teas were homemade and delicious! The service was friendly and the tea room is nicely decorated. This was my first visit with friends from London but it won't be my last.
Lovely little cafe & tearoom with very reasonably priced, tasty food. Clean and tidy (incl loo) with quirky decor and friendly staff who still managed to smile in very hot summer heat. We'd definitely return.
Great coffee, very tasty chicken pesto sandwich and a delicious creamy carrot cake. With very friendly staff, a must visit if you find your self in Otley!
