Myself, husband and doggie (Colin) popped into the cafe this morning for a bacon butty before our walk around the lovely country park. What can we say other than the bacon butties were amazing. Proper soft thick sliced bread (no bread cakes) with gorgeous well cooked bacon. Excellent service and the waitress that came out to us was a dream. Keep up the good work, we will be back xx

Cafe prices for ice lollies and drinks rip off Should show prices Park needs a good sanitise due to all duck poo and not good for young children to try and avoid Only 1 vehicle for armed forces day a complete let down Might try later to see if there are any improvements but doubt it

Whilst I appreciate the cafe has no connection to the council toilets next door, refusing to allow me to even buy toilet paper or napkins to use, and being damn rude about it, is extremely poor. I then offered to buy a coffee and not even have them make the coffee, just so I could get tissue, and they refused. A genuinely flabbergasting experience lacking in basic humanity.

£7.80 for a rubbish sandwich and a can of coke. Sausages were so dry I think they had been cooking since Saturday last week. Two cheap sausages and one cheap hash brown.

Lovely little cafe with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Note: shuts at 2.30 pm during the week.

Visited lovely Poolsbrook Country Park with a friend today. We decided we would have lunch at the cafe. We looked in the display cabinet- awful anaemic looking sausage rolls and pasties, random slices of cake. We asked if they had scones-no sorry. This cafe could and should be an absolute goldmine if properly run by someone who knows how to make/ serve lovely homemade food cakes etc. Such a shame. I would give 5* for the park. We left and drove elsewhere.
