   We go here a lot so we can say we like it. The atmosphere is nice but we go for the coffee. Food OK if you're not fussy; tray bakes and muffins quite nice but small and a bit pricey in my opinion. Staff mainly friendly and helpful and quick. A big shout out for the manager. Invariably friendly, approachable, hard-working and clearly conscientious. He serves with care and pride. Just occasionally tables not quite cleared fast enough but they do get busy. Customers could help a bit by returning the trays to the collection point, though.

   We were waiting 45 minutes in the queue to get served. Tables full of pots, staff running round like headless chickens not a clue what each other are doing with no communication. Extremely slow serving one customer to the next. Pool of water on the floor staff just walking round it. Stuff all over behind the counter it looked like absolute chaos! We were intending to eat in but because it had taken that long to get our food we had to take out. Shambles!! They need to be alot more organised and someone leading them.

   Today 22.09.25, waited 15 mins to be served by Chloe, the other staff around were extremely slow in working, there was a back log of 4 other customers waiting for their drinks to be made by Nicole. I have used this Costa plenty of times before but never known a service so slow and painful to wait for what is meant to be a pleasant and quick one. Costa you really need to retrain your staff. Barista is not what they are.

   Great coffee but the place is looking very tired and dirty. Stains on the sofas and chairs. Crumbs on tables and floor. Overall disappointing.

   I returned here for a coffee after a few years and I must say I was disappointed. I seldom have a Carmel Latte and I will not be buying one here again. It was very weak. I'm not rushing back here

   Food & drink are all fine. Just had to ask for a knife for my toast, butter I asked for & napkins that don't seem to be offered on order. 1 star as I popped to toilet with my jacket & half drunk mocha on table, came back & drink gone. Apologise but didn't offer to give me replacement.

   Coffee here is always good. Can usually get a good spot to relax over a cup of coffee and a lovely blueberry muffin; and I love the fact they now do M&S sandwiches.
