Very friendly server. Sat on the corner of the retail park i think people just drive past. This however, makes it a less busy place and not overwhelming crowded like most Greg's are. Still had a steady footfall though. Seemed more relaxed and laid back.
The staff here are actually polite, even though you can tell they are tired they are still polite and have a great laugh with you. Can’t beat that sort of service.
Lovely staff most days really cheerful but the issue I'd speed of service. Waiting 15 minutes in line before being even served should not be a regular occurrence at this Greggs and sadly it is. Especially when in the morning rush. I can only put it down to poor delegation of duties and not enough staff. Besides that food is always good and staff are nice and friendly.
After visiting the store today I feel that this has to be shared with great importance as I spotted what is a huge Food Hygiene concern. I watched this Uber/Just eats delivery driver come to collect and order and rested against this section of the banister for ten minutes, At times his hands and car keys being above the food preparation area and no members of staff did anything to keep him away, My Photo doesn’t show the point he was fully over the counter as he had moved back slightly whilst the women were making sandwiches. This is disgusting and poor practices being allowed by your staff and a poor design by the kitchen fitters. I ordered a Bacon and Sausage roll this morning but after seeing this it went into the bin!. Please feel free to check your CCTV, This incident was at 10:40am.
Lovely staff and love the food. Had hot chocolates, pizza pieces for the twins which were larger than we expected and absolutely delicious, and caramel custard donut for me, an ideal pick me up. The lovely lady also did me a sausage roll pack as they'd run out of the prepared ones.
Already rated this Gregg's as a 5* and continue to do so. I go to this one rather than any other cos it's such a nice place to eat in and have a crafty snack, even with the family, it has a very nice atmosphere and feels welcoming.
One of the most friendly Greggs I've never been to, in such the cold weather outside, the two ladies that served me and my partner warmed the place up with how friendly and chatty they were :)
Called in this Greg's today, the sandwich I wanted wasn't available on the shelves but staff said they would make me one. I did have a bit of wait but the lady serving customers, Maryanne was very apologetic and even gave me a voucher for a free cuppa on my next visit. I also noticed how lovely she was to all the customers she served. Lovely to experience such good customer service.
