Exceptional service- our tray was carried upstairs for us. Great food and coffee/hot chocolate. Good prices for a city centre coffee shop. Lovely view from upstairs, overlooking the Peace Gardens.
The staff were very friendly and polite. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend.
I really liked this branch of Nero thave a nice view of the center and the outdoor seating is great I hope they can make the space less chaotic and more organized. I enjoy the seating on the upper floor. However, the lighting is not ideal for working I wish it were more organized up there as there too much seating and the large sofas make the place feel hectic Overall the coffee is great and it’s a large space but next time I think I would prefer to visit a more organized branch like the one on the high street :))
My go to coffee shop. I think the loyalty program is the best compared to Costa, Starbucks etc. Very quick C+C service too which means you can order a couple minutes before arriving and it will be ready once you get there. I do wish there was some verification process to collect the order though as I could see anyone just grabbing someone else's order and no-one would think twice.

We ordered the Vegan Sausage roll and the vegan Sausage cob (pre-package). The Sausage roll was nice with a filling of roasted vegetables which was a nice change from the fake meat options you can get but a filling of lentils is still a favourite for me. The Sausage cob was described as bland, boring, and was left unfinished (which is not normal behaviour). The chai latte was very nice and quite gentle and the cinnamon added a christmassy spirit. Couldn't fault the service, really polite and attentive.
The place could have done with a bit of a clean. There weren’t that many customers, yet there were crumbs on tables which needed a wipe. The staff weren’t very friendly either - it costs nothing to smile. The coffee and food was pretty ordinary, not worth the price that was charged.
Tasty food and drinks, but felt a tad expensive. Overall, solid experience Went there for lunch and coffee, I find their espresso the best compared to other chains. The panini was very tasty and hot from the press. The Italian peach smoothie gorgeous and sweet. Covid restrictions are sensible and it felt fine to step into the shop. Will go again.
Located next to peace gardens Caffè Nero has a great area for sitting outside on a warm day. Only giving the chain four stars as there are plenty of independent shops that offer a wider selection of food and drinks. Nero has great customer service and is one of the better chains for coffee.
