An ok place but nothing special. It annoys me that staff believe they're there for each other and not for customers.
Lovely friendly staff who never stopped working whilst we were there.
I know it's Sunday service, I understand 4pm is closing time, but never been asked to get up and leave bang on 4.00pm! (Not just me, about 4 other groups). Poor service, so rude!
As a coeliac I can never give any Costa Coffee venues a good food score. but that doesn't stop me from rating this place highly for its coffee, service and providing a nice environment. Food is attractively presented at the counter and in adjoining displays/fridges. I had a gluten free ‘Fruity Flapjack” slice as I'm a bit sick of brownies and it was a nice change, as most people in my shoes would no doubt agree with! Strangely, when you buy any pre-wrapped cake, Costa do not appreciate that you need a plate for it and you need to request one. I think this is, oddly, a head office thing. Costa's coffee is always good. I had ordered a large americano and was offered a decent amount of milk which was nicely warmed for me (I’m like a baby!) This was the first time my wife and I had visited this store as we never usually go into Next. The staff were friendly and down to earth which is what you want. Coffee and cake will always taste better when you feel welcome. I’ll consider visiting again the next time I’m down that way to have a relaxing coffee with my wife.
