Paid 8.20 for one pint of flat black sheep and two fruit shoots. Didn't even risk trying food. Service was poor. Probably a good pub any other day but not for them prices. Either that or bar staff ripped me off.
Fantastic service, food, atmosphere.. had a lovely family 90th birthday celebration. Wish I didn't have to drive home or we would of stayed all evening. :).. we will be back. This is our new family gatherings pub. Thx Paula and all the team :)
Picked this pub to stop off in on the way back from York, we got the small Sunday roast with sides and it was perfect, felt like a proper home cooked Sunday roast. Really affordable and better than some I’ve a lot paid more for. We’d definitely stop in again!
We picked this on our way to York due to reviews and wow are we glad we did! People were absolutely lovely so helpful and kind and welcoming. The food was unbelievable best pint of Amstel I’ve had!! Couldn’t recommend enough!!
Me and my sister met here for the first time. Easy to book a table, was done through fb. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful interior and great atmosphere. Was lovely and will be returning.

Welcoming pub. Nicely refurbished. Friendly staff. Only two real ales on but otherwise good choice of drinks. And they were open Christmas Day, much appreciated!
Stopped here passing through on our way home and very glad we did. A very friendly atmosphere greeted with a smile and they served food all Day good food Menu opted for Club & chips which was lovely!! My son had a Philly one. Would Definitely visit again if in the Area
