Great to see this big old pub get such a fresh start! Three bar areas plus function room, great for meeting up or watching sports and now they have a perfect unpretentious pub menu! Hot chorizo pizza was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great local pub! Good beer, good food, good prices. Friendly staff, dogs welcome, plenty of TVs for sports, bar billiards, dartboard, multiple rooms, beer garden (with heaters).
Very welcoming lovely pub! Andy has been very helpful with our events over summer and we're looking forward to many more quiz nights and Awards dos soon!
April 2025 update - new landlords look like they have a plan ... which sound great. Early days but she is crystal clear and the staff are great. March 2024 update - still pretty darn good. Dec 2023 and new management. 1st visit was a big success. Ales were kept perfectly and all staff very friendly. High hopes going forward. Glad to see it both open and busy.
Great character pub.. a welcome breakfast after parkrun. Quite busy Saturday morning after parkrun but staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

We were visiting from the Midlands, having run a parkrun on Saturday. All I can say is we had one of the best breakfasts we've had after a run. And the service was excellent!
