Beautifully restored and original ‘one off pieces. Curation of this standard takes time, knowledge and a huge amount of passion. I bought a beautiful table, thanks for arranging the delivery so swiftly. Brilliant x
The nicest furniture shop we have ever been, anywhere in Europe. It feels more like an enchanting art gallery than a shop, because all the objects are beautiful, interesting and original. They sell marvellous furniture, but they sell equally beautiful paintings, posters, engravings, rugs, pottery, leather objects, etc. Everything is displayed with a subtle sense of harmonious presentation. Once there you want to remain longer, surrounded by so much beauty, and leaving becomes difficult. We also found that prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately we live two hundred miles away, but otherwise we would return regularly just for the pleasure of looking at the items displayed.
Visited today to buy for new build luxury apartments in Whalley Range. Been before owners are lovely, lived in Chorlton 40yrs and try to keep it local . I live with tinnitus and anxiety managed by listening to music to drown down the constant buzz in my ears. Had a look around music on phone, customers nodded whilst browsing. Went around to the desk to discuss and TOLD to turn music down as she was texting and couldn't concentrate. Walked out never to return ....and then found what I was looking for by speaking to local traders. So all ends well for both a parties.. I won't darken your doors and saved a fortune today.
Beautiful shop filled with stunning furniture. We bought a gorgeous 60s teak easy chair with mustard yellow upholstery. It is perfect for our living room and is so comfy. I always take a peak in when passing by as they have absolute gems.
Bought this beautiful lamp from Department. We seen it the day before and couldn't stop thinking about it, we had to have it! The store is incredible, if we could sit and relax and enjoy the music in the store we would.
