   A true gem of a local set by the beautiful aire and Calder navigation. Great beer gardens and kids sensory gardens to the rear. Great Sunday Lunches just like your mum makes.

   An absolutely cracking local pub. Really friendly atmosphere, great bar staff and top drawer cask beers. If you visit on a Sunday, the Sunday dinner is superb, and the only criticism is that there is so much served that normal folk could never empty the plate.

   Great pub sat beside the Aire & Calder navigation. Friendly staff, good selection of ales. Huge deck and grassed area perfect for watching boats sail by, perfect place to relax, perfect place to have a laugh and a bit of banter with the locals.

   They only do food on a Sunday, and again, only between 12 and 4 and we arrived far too late but hey ho, life goes on. They'd a couple of interesting beers and the staff are friendly, including the Landlady who is well worth a hug. It's a Marsden's pub, so the beers are going to be what you'd expect from a mainstream, albeit above average chain. We liked it, and would stop here again.
