Great traditional pub. Very good choice of beer - 2 x real ales, 4x lagers, Aspalls cider and craft ale (Kirkstall Virtuous). No food but great atmosphere. Low level background music. Fantastic staff. Pool table in the back room. Open until late. What's not to like?

Maybe it's just me picking the best ones all the time however I can't walk away from this place without a highly rewarding written opinion, basically I've ordered copper dragon and large cod and chips and honestly this was one of the best meals in my life, my gratitude for the chefs and the bar staff, very quick, efficient, polite and welcoming. Thank you.

Lovely village pub, classic English style. Good food and drink - menu is very much a classic pub grub style, but you can't argue with the quality and quantity for the price. Has an open fire which is amazing. So nice to sit and relax near it.

Landlord and patrons were very welcoming....we went in for food because other places we tried were full.....hot and timely food.....quality not the best.....they tried

The sunday lunch is a great home cooked meal. Great quality and portion. The small plate is quite sufficient. Whilst service appears slow it is my belief that the reason is that food (Yorkshire puddings) and cooked fresh and not kept warm meaning the quality remains consistent. A return is imminent.

Superb little pub, its such a great place to sit and have a quiet drink, ales are great and food is lovely. What I would say is a good old style pub, not many left like this!
