   Out for a birthday meal with family and friends. All lovely, great service from Sue and Rachael. Friendly and efficient when our order was taken at the bar. We will definitely return. Excellent value for money too, for 8 people with desserts too

   I booked the Christmas festive menu for 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children as a special treat. We got a call the night before saying our starters weren’t available despite being ordered for weeks. The waitress was lovely and said we’d sort it out when we arrived. As promised I was asked what we would like, unfortunately our request was declined as they only take out the starters if ordered, so I went without. I’ll live with this but when the main meals and deserts came, we were all totally disappointed. Nothing like the advertised photos and poor quality. Although I paid we will Not be visiting again. This is a shame as we’d had a bad meal before and not visited for several years, we only went through a recommendation, I should have know better. Feel so let down and extremely upset with everything. Very, very, very poor food. Great service from the staff who were lovely, such a shame.

   If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff were rude and absolutely miserable, there was one member of staff who was polite and had a smile (young girl). The food was a massive disappointment, son was missing chips, partner was missing half of his order. Food was that bad even my two year old would only eat the garlic bread. What a waste of £50, it’s really gone down hill

   Staff are always very pleasant in the Singing Chocker, always happy and smiling and knowledgeable about the menu. Great offer this week if you subscribe to the emails was bogof on a lot of the menu. We had the rump steak which was cooked just as we asked, well done kitchen team. Can't recommend enough.

   I ordered a grilled chicken, but it didn’t resemble what I expected. The dish was not grilled at all. The waitress was fair and offered to take it back to redo it, and she even offered a dessert as compensation. Unfortunately, after that experience, I just wasn’t in the right mood to enjoy my meal. Overall, a decent effort, but I left feeling disappointed

   The venue was busy with locals which must account for something but based on the sticky floor, dirty tables, sticky menus and lack of staff presence we didn't order anything and left shortly after arriving to go. elsewhere. Fair review giving 3 stars as food/drinks/experience may have been fine but cleanliness definitely wasn't.

   Despite being fairly busy we only waited 50 minutes for food. Most of the food was good although the pastry on the pie could not be cut and the mashed potatoes looked like they had sat for a long while. They were however proper potatoes I'm sure and the pie filling was tasty. The staff were cheerful polite and helpful. The place appeared clean. All in all a fairly positive experience .

   Was not very nice. Not the first time i have been there and food has been undercooked. Burger was bleeding last time now chicken wings are pink. Wont eat here again. Chips said they came seasoned but were just plain fries. Took almost an hour and a half for the main meals. The bar staff were all sat down laughing and joking apart from one called kayleigh. Who was up serving everyone while other bar staff were sat drinking cola from the bar. Iv had a reply how i meant to get intouch without a name and a number?
