Been waiting since last Wednesday for a call back about delivery date error, phoned several times. My mum currently has no furniture while recovering from major surgery because this company gave less than 24 hours notice that there would be no delivery.

Wasn’t told of the insurance that came with the order. Insurance sent documents. A couple of days later, where I read that you could ask for the £80 charge if you didn’t want the insurance. Not need as I already contents insurance. I had to go to the store where I bought the sofas and claim the £80. Went to store, they knew nothing about it. They tried telling me lot of nonsense until eventually they said they would have to contact head office. After 3 weeks of chasing, where twice they agreed to refund me, I still haven’t received payment.

For your own sake - stay away from this place. The level of disregard of aftercare team is shocking. Read their terms and conditions very carefully, read the order carefully - as graphics are misleading. Check the delivery the very same day - as they are rejecting any request for conversation after 28 days even if they make a mistake. In general horrible experience.

I waited for 3 months for delivery of my leather sofa which apparently comes from China. I realized there was manufacturing faults. The sofa had excessive movement on the back on one side compared to the other side, which caused a gap between the arm and the back of the sofa. I contacted the aftercare team within a week, 17 days later they sent a technician to inspect it, he adjusted the bracket and moved the filling around in the arm to improve the appearance. Unfortunately this didn't make any difference as 5 days later I had to phone the aftercare team again, 12 days later a 2nd technician came to inspect the sofa, he pulled the back forward and said there was nothing wrong with it and said it was the way I sat on it. THE SOFA WAS LIKE THIS WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED. He said he would put in his report and we would hear from the aftercare team, 3 days later we were told that the sofa is performing to the standard they would expect it to therefore the case is closed. All I can say is if this is the standard they expect then he standards have certainly dropped over the years as I purchased a Leather suite 11 years ago from SCS and it's in perfect working order compared to the sofa I've just purchase. SCS are happy to take your money but the aftercare is absolutely atrocious. I'm still left with a sofa that has excessive movement on one side and a gap between the arm and the back of the sofa. I would never buy anything else from SCS again.

Brilliant service from here for the 2nd time in the last few months and a breath of fresh air compared to other brands. We were served by Phil both times who is probably the only sales person I've ever dealt with who has the perfect balance between being professional and personable. Nothing was too much bother for him and he went above and beyond to make sure our measurements were accurate, that we were ordering something we would really love and helped us with a finance term that suited our monthly budget. Completely different to our experience at DFS which was less than pleasant. We highly recommend SCS for a friendly and pleasant buying experience.

Charged an awful lot of money for what was received. Spent £150+ on new carpet grippers and they’ve used the old ones and not told us, what a rip off. Also didn’t put the door bars down we paid for and we’re currently trying to have them fitted. Also, the carpet is bumpy and isn’t fitted properly. They tried adding £240 to an order placed also so had to cancel that. Can’t talk to a manager to discuss the issues and staff don’t seem to care as they don’t acknowledge your situation. 1000% wouldn’t use again and I’d avoid like the plague if I was you. Update - They’re generic reply is laughable, considering I’ve already spent the morning on the phone trying to sort these issues and been told the matter can’t be taken to a manager and nobody will assist further. Additionally, you don’t normally provide 5* service, read your reviews!? Shocking. Guarantee there is no follow up and they’ve posted that reply to make it look to new prospective buyers like they’re sorting the issue. Abysmal.
