Enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Booked a table in advance through the recently introduced online booking - as it can get really busy. Warm welcome and lovely staff throughout our visit. The food has always been excellent whenever we visit. Will definitely go back soon.
Absolutely loved my first visit to the cafe. They have a specific vegan with lots of choice of breakfasts, lunches, sides, and desserts. Everything I had there was delicious and service was great. The indoor space is quite small and reverberant so it can be quite loud if people are chatting away but that's a minor bugbear. There is outdoor seating too, and the building and surroundings are lovely. There's also a lovely second hand bookshop attached!
My son took me to celebrate both our birthdays. We ordered from the specials board and had the spicy southern fried chicken with BBQ beef and pork and chicken gyros. We were shocked at the size and the waitress laughed and said "don't worry we do take home boxes". As we were leaving they gave us a little box with 2 cakes in which they were going to bring to the table and sing Happy Birthday to us which was a lovely gesture. Will definitely go again and can't recommend it highly enough.
Had a fantastic afternoon tea yesterday. We had a disabled lady with us, so requested a table downstairs which we were given. In our group of 8 we have 2 vegetarians and 2 people that are gluten free and all were catered for. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and they kept coming. The food came out very quickly and everything was beautiful. We were all grateful for boxes to take our leftovers home. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints! Thanks again ladies!
This place is amazing, the food was fantastic. Some of the option were slightly different which wad great. I had the bhaji sandwich. The desserts were massive and so tasty. Our waitress was a diamond. Thoroughly recommend. Top tip, book a table.
Love it here, the best cafe in Sheffield! The food is amazing, staff are so nice and helpful and the location is great. Often come here for breakfast or lunch and always impressed with the food- good options both veggie and not and always good portion sizes for a reasonable price.
A real gem, quality food at a good price , great service and easy to get to with good parking. we had a rhubarb cafe burger which was top. The staff were particularly friendly. The planting in the gardens is fantastic, very bee friendly and to sit outside in the sunshine is a treat.
I called in at The Rhubarb Shed Café today after I’d had a look at Manor Lodge , this place is such a lovely surprise down here on Manor Lane , set in such beautiful land and buildings it is an oasis of calm away from the City which is just minutes away . The atmosphere inside The Rhubarb Shed Cafe is very professional but really friendly. The tables are laid out with knives and forks more Restaurant style and a lovely touch I noticed immediately were the Scandinavian style throws on the chairs in case you feel chilly , I loved that little touch ! The Café is really clean I will be calling again and next time I’ll bring my grandchild and my Daughter and we’ll have a meal , I highly recommend The Rhubarb Shed Café it’s a little hidden gem well worth seeking out
We went in a party of 5 for afternoon tea. It was fabulous. Two of us had the vegan afternoon tea and we certainly didn't feel like the poor relation. Full marks to the Rhubarb Shed for a lovely time and delicious food.
