Ordered 2 teas and sausage sandwich. Tea lovely and hot, opened breadcake to put sauce on and was disgusted to find a single sausage cut in half that did not even cover a third of the bread. Took it back and was told the owner says we can only put one sausage on each sandwich. £4-25 for this disgusting sarnie , asked for refund and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to put back on my card. WILL NEVER EVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Oh dear, 30.12.25. No toilet, told to go to the pub round the corner! I'm not sure how clean this place is, the tables were grimey. Very long wait, three young ladies seemed more interested in the music one dancing round wiggling her overstuffed body with a block of cheese she was slowly grating! No doubt you will delete this so the general public won't see it. But the boss will.

Very embarrassed of this place, bought drinks sat down but had my sons jacket potato, fed him and the owner decides to tell us to leave, I said we have bought drinks from here. Said we need to buy food. Other people were sat with just drinks, not only did he embarrass his self he embarrassed me and family. The lack of generosity and kindness lacks, and as a paying customer i should have been treated with respect. I acknowledged the sign and apologised sincerely. they were talking about us behind the till and making us feel very uncomfortable- abit of advice for future, not everything’s about money, we bought drinks and wanted to sit out the rain so my 1 year old could eat. Will not be returning.

Really great offers and food is excellent. Filter coffee good and for £1 even better. It's in the winter garden so lovely place to sit for a coffee and cake. Even sandwiches are good value

I wish I could give it more stars for the food at least, but the baguette was dry and the "basil and lemon chicken" was literally dry chicken slices, drops of lemon juice from a bottle and basil leaves. Such a weird sandwich! At least it's good value and good location...

Coffee and cake (including vegan) for £2. If you visit please leave a vegan slice for me. Also it's situated within the Winter Gardens, so perfect all round. Update: the coffee and cake offer is now £2.50

Honestly the slowest service for a couple of luke warm drinks and a cheese ploughman's (just cheese an pickle until we asked for the salad bit to be added)took about 20min and first in the queue. Sandwich not bad but won't return

Super friendly polite man who served us and food was really cheap but still tasted good. It cost us £11 for 2 full baguettes 2 drinks and a big slice of cake! Great value (wholemeal and white bread available). There was lots of options plus a lovely seating area with good access to outdoor seating if preferred. Thank You, we really enjoyed it!

I had a lovely tasty sausage sandwich and a hot chocolate drink. I also bought a children's box for £2.99 contained a sandwich, crisps, rasins, kinder chocolate bar and a Ribena drink, fantastic value for money. The guy who served me was really friendly. You can pay cash or card. There was a queue and the service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.
