   Orderd caesar saled was told that it came with chicken by the bar staff. I then paid 7 pound for it and then he came back saying that its and EXTRA £3.50 for the chicken. Also orderd a side chips to share with friends paid £3.60 and the portion size is rediculous and when the saled came there was a no caesar dressing which is the point of the saled so i took it back and they had the cheek to charge me an extra £2 for it. After paying the 2 pound it came drowning in the dressing I had to scoop out alot of the dressing.

   As a group of 8 lady’s all ordered food 2 ladies ordered small fish n chips. It was mostly batter. The premises were absolutely freezing. Good was sent back and waiter returned it unchanged saying the chef said it was a small fish as ordered. After again telling them that there was no fish in the batter and asking to speak to the chef…, which never happened the 2 meals were exchanged. The waiting staff were amazing a we felt really sorry that they were put on an awful situation. Needless to say none of will be coming here again

   Food was cold, a small drizzle of syrup on the pancakes, when we asked for more told we'd have to pay. At least the coffee was warm but it was so burnt it was undrinkable. I also found egg shell in my fried egg and the overall service was really not great, not welcoming at all.

   It’s was ok, just had a Cavells special breakfast, £5.90, nothing special but was nice and clean and relaxed inside, just wanted a bite to eat and a sit-down.There were other options, I’d definitely go back if I was passing again and wanted a breakfast, probably try the bigger ones though:) Very pleasant staff also.

   What a lovely cafe bar, called in for breakfast with my family. Piping hot food and drinks, tables well spaced out and nice friendly staff. Booked a private function there for beginning of March.

   Visited before going to see a show. Nice friendly place, suits most age range. Food was nice ,my husbands wasn't hot so asked for it to be heated up, no problem at all. It's clean and will pop in again.

   Went for lunch after visiting CEX with the children, had a lovely meal. Staff are dressed smartly and have lovely manners. Excellent music. Good value for money. Very clean and well looked after. Would definitely recommend the Hunters chicken paninni and the roast beef baguette with dipping gravy. The only thing I would recommend is having options for children as the mains they had were too big for them, and we don't like food waste. Other than that a great visit. Will be back again.
