Went for lunch with my sister . Plenty to choose from and the portions were great. I had a delicious hunters chicken sandwich (hot) and had to take half away with me. It is a small but very busy cafe well worth a visit if you are in the area.
We have spent a fair bit of time in the Dore Cafe over the last couple of years while visiting an elderly relative and bringing him out for lunch to sit outside. The staff have been great about trying to make food accessible to eat with a disability and the food is always delicious and lots of portion for your money. Recently we have been a couple of times on our own and had the English breakfast. Genuinely excellent, fantastic hash browns, big doorstops of bakery bread toast, nothing greasy, really very good indeed and fantastic pricing. Can highly recommend! My son says the chicken burger sandwiches (bit like a Zinger) are great too and the baguettes are fab.
Great place in Dore Village. My dentist is nearby so had a coffee and light lunch. The roasted tomato soup was delish! And the artisan roll with salted butter was divine. Lovely staff friendly and attentive. Nice relaxing interiors to lift the mood. Thanks I’ll be back for a bigger lunch
The best full English I've ever had! Beautiful food, plentiful portions and very well priced. Lovely friendly staff too. Perfect, will definitely be back!

Loads of great reviews for this place, but I must of picked a bad day. * The Nutella rocky road was like the high street road, rock solid. * The spoon for stirring the tea was dirty. *:The table was dirty
Great little cafe in the village of Dore. Very good range of products mostly homemade or made nearby. Sandwiches have many different options. My favourite is the chicken and bacon mayo which does often sell out so you need to be early-ish (please make more!) Plenty of sweet treat options too. I'd like to see more non-chocolate based options as minor feedback. Overall, good quality decent cafe which I recommend.
Totally blown away - super tasty and good value afternoon tea! Dore Cafe were able to completely personalise the order to my preferences and the food was ready in good time to collect on the day. The food was lovely and fresh and there was more than enough for 2 of us! Thank you very much :) x
