So fortunate to have found this place. With so many name brand designers cutting costs and producing clothing that falls apart and pills etc, this shop has crafted timeless pieces (I got the storm collar peacoat). Itβs very hard to find a 100% wool peacoat which in my experience should last many years. This fit of the peacoat is excellent, Iβm 6β2β 200lbs, and large is perfect with a little room to add a sweater underneath or layer up. The gents in the shop are extremely kind and helpful. Always nice to support a family business, hoping this review helps.

Quality, tailored men's wear. I scoped this shop out for my man as he had no winter coat. Cunningly, I checked with the store they had the right coat in his size and color before turning up. We walked in, he was amazed by the shop, the friendliness and the quality of the items. The storm collar 100% wool coat is an absolute gem and looks gorgeous on him. His reluctance evaporated and we left with the coat, a matching burgundy scarf (100% merino wool) and a big smile. Yes, the prices are high, but the quality you get ensures it's an investment for decades. Also, all men who walked in the store looked like stars from some WW2 era film. Well worth a visit.

It's a lovely store to visit in person. However I would not recommend buying online if you life outside of the UK. I bought some things personally in the shop and they are great. However last time I bought a jacket online from the EU. What a fault! The sizing of the jacket was different than it was written in the size chart (around 3 cm smaller). I also paid quite a lot of money for shipping, tax, duty and other fees to DHL (This is not the fault of Thomas Farthing, just good to decide if it's worth it). When I wrote about my problem to customer support and there was no answer at all. I still give 4 stars because the customer support in the shop itself is great and the things are beautiful.

I have purchased a pair of summerweight, wool and linen blend, Prince of Wales check trousers. These are an exemplar of vintagewear and trouser perfection. The fuller 1920's era cut is perfect for extended wear, say while attending a summer day wedding. They have ample length for a good tailor to take down (to approximately a 34" inside leg), or, in my case, some stout and period appropriate turn ups.

I do love this vintage looking clothing shop. It had some of the must well thought out designs for men's jackets be it half belted backs to the colours and materials used. My only issue is that I am short so they don't tend to fit me well. But I love the designs. What I do have are baker boy caps, flat caps, Panama hats and fur felt fedoras. They are beautifully made. The staff are friendly and I took a star off as I have been waiting months for my new hat. Every dapper chap should go to this store. I have put it to 5 stars as I have worn this hat they ordered for me and I absolutely love it. I get wonderful comments from random people in the street or at work. They love it. I love it and thinking back even if it was a long wait I know the staff did chase it up for me to get it. I love it so much I brought the brown version. Thank you and if you love that vintage classic look you have to come here. Please if you found my review helpful please press like. I went back for a new hat I saw online. I asked them could they get me a size 62 and they told me that they managed to get one and it's a slightly different colour but it is that gorgeous high crown which I wanted so much. They have excellent customer service and they know how to look after customers. I didn't remind them about the hat and they were on it. It's a grand hat which you rarely see nowadays and I am so glad I have it. Thank you so much.

My boyfriend and I are visiting the UK and made a stop into this cute store by surprise and it was by far the best part of our trip. We were greeted with such love and kindness. My boyfriend ended up getting two lovely suits from Thomas Farthing and they went above and beyond to help coordinate his wardrobe. Adam not only picked colors that would best suit my boyfriend but he also went above and beyond and had one a suit custom tailored as we had a wedding to attend a week after. I have never been so pleased with this kind of treatment. Everyone was so friendly and we basically came in as strangers and left as friends. Jenna was an absolute doll and helped my find a beautiful sun hat for my mom and even offered to have it shipped back to US for me. The vibes, the employees and the style of the shop were so memorable I have told everyone I know that plans to visit the UK to stop in. I appreciate you all and thank you for being so hospitable. I look forward to coming back on our next vacation
