We popped in for a bite to eat ans ended up ordering a full english as the vegetarian options were so good. The service was very attentive, personal and friendly. I would definitely recommend this as a place to grab a coffee or have lunch.
Visited yesterday for the first time and I have to say it was fantastic, Service was excellent! Food was wonderful! I had the Eggs Benedict which was lovely, My only gripe was not enough hollandaise sauce and cress, But other than that it was beautiful! Presented extremely well too! I will definitely visit again soon.
Visited Copper Pot for breakfast and really enjoyed the experience. We ordered one English breakfast, two vegan English breakfasts, and one vegan sausage bagel. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The food was spot on, fresh, and well presented. The only slight letdown was the drinks. The white chocolate matcha didn’t quite live up to expectations, but the cappuccino and latte were both fine. Overall, it’s definitely a must-visit spot for breakfast with a cozy vibe, great food, and friendly service.
I know this may sound over the top and harsh but I am critical about the basics when it comes to food! My wife had the gluten free mushrooms in cream on toast, which she said were excellent, important being celiac. The celiac options were fantastic with the majority of the menu fit for GF folk. I ordered the full English, just over £12. The portion size looked good, but the quality wasn’t there. The beans were cold, the bacon was tough and cold, the sausages looked anaemic and were barely warm, and the scrambled eggs were lukewarm. I raised it with staff, who swapped the plate straight away. Sadly, the replacement was still cold. The main front-of-house asked if it was okay, I said no, and he brought out two freshly cooked sausages. They were hot, but overall the breakfast, though it looked fine on the plate, was cold with exception of the hash browns and tomatoes. I was a little concerned with what I saw in the kitchen: Glass(pyrex) jug being used to whisk eggs a real hazard. If that smashes, the kitchen is effectively shut down, as there’s no guarantee glass shards haven’t contaminated food or surfaces. Food hygiene guidance is clear on this kindof physical contamination risks. Food not held at safe temperatures, hot food such as dausages should be kept at 63 °C or above if being used for service. I may be wrongs but there was no visible hot holding or pass heat lamp to keep items warm. In the time I was there i didn't see any frequent hand-washing and separation of tasks either. In fairness, the front-of-house manager insisted I wasn’t charged for my breakfast, which was good of him. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s just a shame the basics like temperature control let my food down. Coffee was nice though.
Regularly get takeaway breakfast for here - definitely worth a go, very thoughtfully packaged unlike other cafes and the ingredients used are high quality - would highly recommend.
Not great and definitely gone down hill since the last time we were here. Went for the full English, came really quick and basically some microwaved stuff. The sausage wasn't great and the hash brown was awful, hard and the beans tasted a bit off
Delicious cakes, many vegan options! Had that yesterday. Very cute place. The vegan breakfast is so yummy there! Best one I’ve had so far. If we’d live there we’d definitely be regular customers.
Highly recommended, love their food. Good breakfast, avocado toast is tasty. Staff are very friendly too, really nice people. Will be back!
Great place!! Lovely staff. They have vegan and gluten free treats as well as a food menu. Also 2-4-1 cocktails which were nice. They also had fantastic music on so was a great atmosphere, even played high school musical! Sells vodka and coffee what more could you want. Highly recommend. Also do banging food in the day and suvj nice staff
