   Would never have considered going to this pub but, went to watch friend of my daughter perform a magic show. The show was in a private room,upstairs. The pub itself is clearly traditional, like those of my (distant) youth. It’s full of character, nooks and crannies. If you’re an ale/beer aficionado you should enjoy the selection available. Great atmosphere. No rowdies (on a Wednesday at least). Relaxed and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. The magic was outstanding…but obviously one night only. Oh, and there’s pies. Will have to return for one of those!

   Fantastic, atmospheric, proper, friendly, traditional boozer selling a wide range of local beer. Plenty of places to sit inside plus a beer garden. If you want a real English pub, this is a must visit place.

   Lovely pub with well kept cask. Great beer garden if you want to sit outside and a plethora of beer paraphernalia on the walls inside to keep you occupied for hours.

   Great pub alas no real cider on my last 4-5 visits. There are bag in box ciders made from concentrate and artificial flavouring but nothing ‘real’ - this could easily be improved upon and brought back up to the standard it was a few years ago.

   Excellent Sheffield pub near the Kelham Island Museum. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including three imperial stouts ranging in strength from 10.6 to 12.0 abv! Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.

   This place is a little gem in Sheffield with such welcoming atmosphere! Great selection of beer, whiskey and gin for very reasonable prices! We've visited several times since we moved in, and it was always a great experience. They also have a lovely seating area outside!
