Great concept and a lovely venue, friendly welcome and the coffee smell as you walk in is fantastic. There were two of us, we had an oat milk latte and a manual filter coffee. The latte was delicious but could have done with being hotter, filter coffee was a bit weak and again not very warm. The most disappointing bit was that whilst we came for a coffee together, the coffees were served separately and the latte was drunk well before the filter coffee arrived. This was not really acceptable and the experience wasn’t cheap at £11 for two coffees.

this is one of my favourite coffee shops in Sheffield so far !! the decor is very nice and unique, a great place to sit in. there is also outdoor seating ! the coffee was great but the date Cardamon knot is so so good. you should honestly go here just for that. lovely place and staff and pretty quiet which is nice :)

i love this place. it’s less busy than other cafes like hygge or marmadukes (love their coffee, but the atmosphere isn’t particular favourable when I’ve a migraine and I’m trying to be productive in peace). their coffee is so silky and smooth aaaa, and their staff’s lovely. I particularly love the courtyard, and don’t think any other place has anything similar in town, maybe except steam yard but I’m not a fan of how busy that street gets. This reminds me of small European town, idk man really love mows it’s a bit selfish but im always gatekeeping cus its so special to me. Heard recent talk about them changing locations but I hope they still keep this one

Visited the coffee shop today, very nicely prepared latte. The place is quiet and chill. The desserts are very normal nothing special.

Great friendly spot with amazing speciality coffee and professional baristas. 100% recommend if you are or around Sheffield. Comfortable seats inside or tables outside if the weather is dry. Love the little hatch on Arundel Street that also offers takeaway coffee so you don't have to go inside. Welcomed with a friendly face and also advice and recommendations of whatever coffee or brew method you like. From Lattes, batch brew to pour over.

Came in today to try some coffee beans that are different from my usual. Got a Burundi and was excited to dial it in. It was impossible to get a decent espresso! Had to go down to the finest grind level and the extraction was still off. I then swapped from single walled basket to double walled basket (keeping the same settings) and voila it worked which can only mean one thing! I then checked the date of roasting - almost 4 weeks! To be sold stale beans at £12.50 per 250g bag is extremely disappointing!

Fantastic little specialty coffee shop, well placed in the city centre, near Sheffield Hallam University and half way between the train station and Moor Market. It's a small place, with a very warm atmosphere and comfortable seats. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and exceptional specialty coffee to match. I had a delicious single origin filter coffee and a well brewed specialty espresso, both just about perfectly extracted and served in very comfortable notNeutral cups. The cheese toastie I had was one of the best I've had from a cafe in a while! The cheese mix and spices worked together well, and it was nicely presented when served. Everything seemed well priced, and the serving size was perfect for lunch. Well deserving of a top rating - I'm looking forward to coming back again some time soon!

Amazing speciality coffee brewed by incredibly knowledgeable staff! From espresso right through to filter the roasts are delicious and extracted to their best. A refined and tatsy food menu of breakfast and lunch items if you fancy something to eat.
