We sat outside as we had the dogs with us. Dogs are welcome though. Friendly approachable staff. Fantastic food though we tried bagels, baked goods and even got a loaf to take home too. Big portions, I definitely over anticipated it!
Like the coffee here. They have good pastries and also nice lunch things. It’s frustrating they don’t open a bit earlier in the mornings- 9am is too late for a pre-work walk & coffee! Service can be slow sometimes too
Unsure what some of these reviews are on about. Been here dozens of times, mostly just for coffee, and never had a bad experience. The staff are very nice and on top of things. The coffee is some of the best in Sheffield and the one time I had a sandwich it was very tasty. The chocolate chip cookies are excellent too
This is in a prime location just past the Walled Garden in Hillsborough Park. There is seating both inside and outside; the outside courtyard is a real sun trap so it was lovely to sit outside at a table with parasol. There was a good selection of wheat free cakes; I opted for the salted caramel brownie to go with my cuppa. It was delicious! It was nice to see a bowl of water outside for the dogs.
The best place to go for a cappuccino. Shame there was no complientry biscof biscuit to go with. It would have been a nice touch. The tea wasn't great though and we couldn't taste the caramel in the caramel iced coffee we ordered. It was also quite watery instead of milky. Plenty of seating on offer and the staff are very polite and welcoming. They serve to the table too which was pleasant. The place could do with a thorough clean though and a lick of paint in places. Plenty of clean toilets on offer. Delightful menu but maybe a tad expensive. Overall 4/5☆
Great food and coffee. Been a few times and the latest aubergine and broccoli bahn mi was tremendous. Loafs are excellent too, so much so often sold out.
Great food and friendly service. Very good-sized portions. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was that it was a bit grubby and bare and the loos could have been cleaner. Overall highly recommended
Really nice food and seemed a decent price for the quality. I was disappointed that there was no children's menu so I had to just buy my child chips. Also no options for children's drinks (unless you want to pay £3.50 for some fancy cordial). The service was good once we figured out the ordering system - I had to go up and ask whether we went to the counter or if it was table service as there were no table numbers etc. I would have given 5 stars if there were options for children (it is in a park afterall) and if the ordering system has been clear.
My visit here was three years in the making and it didn't disappoint at all! I first came here in 2019 when this was still in an abandoned Coach House. So, to see it now fully built and looking splendid was surreal. The food was great, the views of Hillsborough Park from inside were wonderful and the customer service was just delightful. I was served by a very friendly man named Tom, who always checked in on how I was doing. And the chocolate fudge brownie I ordered was heavenly! I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I do come back to Sheffield.
Food was excellent and good coffee too, had to get a loaf to go! I used to go to the kelham location often so the prices weren’t a surprise to me and is what I’d expect to pay for the quality. I think they’re maybe working out a few kinks customer service wise, the waitress just came and stood by the table and looked at us without saying anything which was a bit awkward. Overall I think it’s a great thing for Hillsborough and will definitely come again
