Best Wetherspoons breakfast we have ever had!! We all had vegan/vegetarian options and it was delicious. Hot food and hot plates. Always a nice busy atmosphere. Friendly staff.
It has a soft floor area and a hard floor area. The hard floor area represents a Tap room area. You get people dressed in work clothes, builders,decorators,council Street workers. Soft floor area is where you eat with friends and family.
A beautiful little pub with lovely friendly staff, Jacob is an absolute credit to the team, always busy but never looks it whilst also being attentive to the customers but in particular I was highly impressed with what I saw of him in the toilets... Erm, let me explain... I have seen varying levels of effort and attention paid to toilet checks but never seen anyone use a full cleaning kit and wipe around all the sinks just for the routine hourly check midweek, give that man a promotion he's got work ethic that some could never learn.

Not a bad wetherspoon, but I think the place needs better upkeeing as on both coffee machines there were hardly any sugars or stirrers from your drink. Apart from that a nice busy place with nice friendly staff. My breakfast was as standard as it gets for a wetherspoons.
Usually if you asked me to go to a wetherspoons id imagine bad times and bad food. But this place has a great atmosphere and ticks most boxes. The food can be hit and miss, but for cheap and cheerful, you cant go wrong
Dropped in for a quick bite. It was very busy. Surprised how quick we got our food. Lovely steak, staff extremely polite and helpful.
I really like this Wetherspoons but today the staff have let the place down. The tables are filthy and there is know sign of anyone coming to wipe them down. A member of staff did clear the previous customers plates but then disappeared leaving the table in a right mess. And no it isn't busy.
My daughter goes in here regularly with her boyfriend and loves it, having met my work colleagues there for our pre-Christmas meal I can see why she does. There's lots of room, lots of seating, and a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be going back.
I do not understand how on earth they cannot get the food warm from using a microwave beans on toast. Before I ordered I said to the manager can you make sure this is warm because it was cold last time it came out and it was Luke warm again. I said to the manager can they not push a button on the microwave if they cannot use a microwave why are they in the kitchen she says there is no need to be rude I believe the manager want sacking as well as the chef. And do not understand how they have got a rating as high as this window cannot even do beans on toast.
