Been coming here for over 25 years. Right now it is absolutely amazing. Fast ordering and super fast service even when busy. Standard cafe food done really well. When the sun is shining there’s no better place to be. Can’t comment on inside since dogs aren’t allowed in the cafe any more but it was a great place to shelter from the weather when we had small children that we brought to the nearby playground. Not even sure if the fairground kiddy horse ride is still there.

One of the nicest lunches I've had for a while. The onion baji special wrap was delicious. Tablet ordering easy to use just pick up a buzzer with a number on it and that's your table number easy!

Scenic settings with the backdrop of flowing water, warm food and coffee after a nice brisk walk and lovely staff. I enjoyed experiencing this cafe. Definitely recommend it

Very busy but Its a beautiful day so it's to be expected. Self service outside or can go inside to be served by a person. Food was lovely but the iced coffee wasn't great. All in all 4 stars.

Lovely place to stop for coffee and something sweet on a regular walk up through Bingham park alongside the Porter. Five years later: although good for a coffee and something sweet, this week we have been twice and had lunch the second time. We cannot reconcile the poor quality and expensive burger with our other purchases. £9.50 for a dry, overcooked burger in an underwhelming bun with a single slice of tomato and two lettuce leaves, a smear of thousand island dressing, and a few oven chips is asking too much.

I usually frequent this cafe and have always highly recommend it. However, today I today I ordered avocado toast off the specials board and what they are charging for one slice of measly toast is absolutely scandalous. I was very disappointed as most places I have this optional is served with two pieces of bread. I will say that the presentation and staff were great

This is a great little cafe, you can either eat in or outside. The food is excellent, caters for both meat eaters and vegetarian/vegans. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have visited this cafe since being a young child, and the food is more substantial and haerty than I remember. The coffee was good. All-in-all a great end to a lovely walk.

Nice place to walk by the stream, paths in many directions. I took a break here to eat something and drink good coffee. Nice rest in the midst of nature. Good food at affordable prices. There are also toilets on site.

Gorgeous walks by the side of the stream but the cafe near the dam was a hidden gem. Absolutely phenomenal food and very reasonably priced for such a little cafe. What a find !!! Would highly recommend !!!
