Had a really nice flat white here on Sunday and the service was very friendly. But the price of my oat milk flat white was £4.30. charging 50p for non-diary milk is not justifiable anymore. Most cafes now provide it at no additional cost (or 20p max). Also I felt like the food menu did not have enough plant-based options.

Disappointed that sourdough not available as advertised for menu choice but not advised/enabled to make alternate choice. Bread served instead was wedge of normal white loaf be too thick for purpose. Otherwise was very tasty and staff friendly. Lovely coffee.
The ginger and pumpkin cake was absolutely delicious. It is very peaceful here and the museum visit was amazing. Fresh ingredients A little robin bird visited me was very interested in my cake. Very nice staff. One star less because of the very steeps prices.
Overall really good with a good atmosphere. There is a big enough outdoor area on the front to sit down and eat. Plenty of space to have a pram next to the table as well. Ordered the Turkish Style Eggs (photos) and the Breakfast Bagel. The food was really nice but lacked the little extra quality to make it five stars. Eggs poached really well. They also do white chocolate mochas which were really nice. The service was quite slow and it took quite a while for the order to come out but the temperature of the food was hot by the time it got to the table.
Happy to have discovered this hidden gem of a cafe. Lovely eggs and friendly service!
I popped in for a coffee after a walk, the kitchen had closed by 3pm, but it was a bank holiday, and to be fair that's not why I was there. I grabbed a flat white, and it's easily one of best made coffees I've had around this part of Sheffield. Excellent milk texture, great coffee base (foundation roasters) and wonderful service. The venue itself is cosy, but bright and airy and wonderfully decorated. I'm definitely going to return at some point. I'd strongly recommend this place!
Every now and then you come across an eating place that hits all of the right notes. Firstly Joni is situated in the beautiful Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet which is always worth a visit. The cafe is a wonderfully comfortable space with room to sit inside and outside. The inside decor and style has been thoughtfully designed and the food and drinks are first class, with a thoughtful and enticing menu. We just stopped in for coffee and cakes which were to perfection but we will definitely be returning for lunch. Finally the staff were friendly and helpful. This place is perfect for meeting friends and family but they also have additional space perfect for holding small meetings with the added advantage of the excellent catering. The owners and staff are doing a great job.
Very nice eggs Benedict brunch dishes and we’ll made coffee in a new cafe at the Industrial Hamlet. Really good for a day trip
