Visited on my Birthday . Had never been there before and was so pleasantly surprised. Very cute little cottage style setting with log fires. Service was so attentive and the food was so so good ! We had the festive afternoon tea and it truly put us in the Christmas spirit . We have already recommended to several people and will be regularly returning in 2026 ..

A wonderful selection of food and drinks. I'm dairy intolerant and there were lots of options for me to choose from. My partner had the full breakfast which ge said was amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back again.

Visited today for a festive afternoon tea and it was just fabulous. The service was fantastic, as always, and the extra little touches (Christmas crackers and a beautifully set table) made it feel so special. We had the gluten free option and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s a pleasure to visit somewhere that caters for dietary requirements and is inclusive. Thank you and a Merry Christmas to all :)

A planned visit whilst walking in the area with a group of friends so had prebooked. Fantastic place with lots of atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and attentive. I ordered a Derbyshire Oatcake which came with Cheddar cheese, mushroom, bacon with salad which was £10.50 which I thought was excellent value along with tea and a cake to go for later. I would recommend simply for the friendly welcome and good food. Edensor is a lovely little village to explore and despite the short distance from Chatsworth House often overlooked.

A lovely tea room but we didn’t eat in as we were exploring the village and church. We got take away coffee which was very good. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We will definitely return in summer to try out a tea and cake in the beautiful village tea shop.

First time going and had their festive Afternoon Tea. It was one of the best I've ever had. The service was excellent. Such a lovely experience. Will definitely go back.

Very scenic place, right beside Chatsworth House. Tea Room with excellent food and a nice choice of drinks, also some nice bottles from Peak Ales Brewery. The Service is absolutely friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Will go there again when I am on a walking tour in that area.

Gorgeous cafe - friendly staff and great service. The menu has something for everyone (as I wondered if I should have gone for the fish and chips OR the salmon on a cheese and chive scone OR the side of chips that were delivered around me). Generous servings of all the components that made up my Edensor Platter. (Three salads, beetroot hummus, avocado, figs, goat's cheese and sourdough bread). Reasonably priced too.

A fabulous tea room that serves a wide range of fresh food. This is so much more than a 'tea room'. With many tables inside and out, the cafe sells a wide variety of hot and cold foods including cooked breakfast and freshly baked cakes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Nestled over the road from Chatsworth in the village of Edensor, this is an idyllic spot to catch up with friends over breakfast, lunch or coffee.
