   Had an awesome long black from the friendly and skilled folks at Queen of the Suburbs today. The place is new and a little barebones but in that good, no nonsense kind of way. They’re just doing great espresso drinks to a high standard and at reasonable prices. For milk drinks I believe they had vegan and dairy options, I’ll be back to try a flat white soon! [update] When this place was brand new it was little more than an espresso machine on a countertop serving takeaway coffee only, hence "barebones" - but it now has a bigger space, indoor and outdoor seating, food, bits and bobs for sale - and can confirm the flat whites are great!

   Really good very handy coffee shop. Run by the nicest people. They know there coffee but aren't snobby about it, the filter is always tasty, some nice cakes n bits. They'll even grind bags of store bought coffee for you! A great addition to Crookes!
