The new owners are welcoming and have improved atmosphere, cleanliness and ‘vibe’ considerably… garden is now much better for families too

A lovers friendly pub full of welcoming locals who made a party of strangers very welcome indeed. Good drinks at good prices. The first place in years to make a bitter shandy the proper way.
A fantastic local pub with everything reasonably priced. The staff and locals are very friendly. It has a decent sized beer garden at the back and also offers a pool table and dart board. I highly recommend the free pub quiz on a Sunday evening as it's always good fun.
