One of my favorite place to chill in Leeds. I can sit there all night with some good beer in the comfy chairs watching the world go by and people going for there trains. It also has an upstairs and patio area which is cool.

My first visit back to not only Leeds, but the UK in 15 years. Here to see old friends who recommended a beer here. Drinking a pint of Pumpkin Pie - the best Porter I,ve ever tasted and superbly served (I,ve drunk many over my tender 59 years). Young Canadian bar staff, wonderfully helpful and pleasant making the pub a joy to visit. I'll be back and should I win a meal for two - will donate to my friends. Thank you for your perfection! Highly recommended.

A fantastic pub with a brilliant atmosphere. There’s an excellent choice of ales on tap — something for everyone, from classic bitters to more adventurous brews. The food from Slap & Pickle is absolutely top-notch, packed with flavour and generous portions. What really makes the place stand out is the staff, they’re friendly, attentive and make you feel genuinely welcome. Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or staying for a meal, the service is spot on. All in all, a great spot for good beer, great food and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

They have a lovely selection of beers, mostly craft. The food was nice enough although the burgers looked a bit lackluster and could do with a bit more love. The prices are okay but do not expect it to be cheap. The overall flair was clean and modern, although it felt a bit too modern for our taste. A negative was that we booked a table with them for dinner and they didn't even have the reservation on the system. There was enough room so it wasn't a problem but since it's in a busy area, that should get sorted out ASAP. Also they should state that there is no service at the table. If I have to write down the food order for 3 or more people and keep getting my own drinks while the two lads at the bar have enough time to chat up female customers then something is wrong. Overall it was a good experience but there are quite a few things that a decent manager could improve easily and quickly.

Myself and my partner had our engagement party here. We hired out the top floor. The staff were phenomenal, so friendly and accommodating. It was hassle free and everything we wanted to be. Beautiful pub, amazing food and drinks. Thank you so much!

Pleasant bar located a stone's throw from Leeds train station, looked after beer and friendly bar staff. I wasn't in there long (just enough time for a pint before catching my train) but impressed enough to go back next time I'm in Leeds.

Sep 2022: fantastic selection of ales and ciders. That's what we're here for, on our 3rd stop on the Leeds Doggy Ale Trail. We had Lilleys: Rhubarb Cider 4%, Camerons Brewery: Road Crew 4.5%, Theakstons Brewery: Barista Coffee Stout 4.2%

Went here on the recommendations of a friend. Main food served is multiple layered burgers and they are sensational. As it is pretty close to Five Guys one could make an interesting comparison between the two and I would say that this place is well worth the visit as the quality and flavour of the burgers is spot on. We had a meal deal of two burgers with dirty fries and it was a significant portion of fries. Slightly pricey but then you have to pay a bit more for quality. I also liked how it was right next to the train station. You can order food online too and even personalise the burgers. Would definitely return.
