   I am a southern man from Reading Berkshire. I moved to Thorpe 15 months ago and I started using this pub. To start with it was a bit hit and miss. But now since it has been taken over by Amanda and Joe it is my local. The staff are amazing and so very friendly. They always look out for me as I am getting on now. I absolutely love the pub and I have no problem whatsoever giving it 5 stars.

   Family friendly pub always good atmosphere and bar staff make you feel welcome not seen in one bit of trouble the 8/9 times I’ve been there would recommend falconers rest to anyone with kids or without very clean an amazing atmosphere and the land lady personally welcomes you and makes sure your having a good night and it’s never boring as every nights different as there’s different entertainment every night 5⭐️s all round best pub in town

   Great place to have a few drinks. Pints are nicely priced and a good atmosphere. Live sports is usually shown too which is a bonus. Generous beer garden also for when the weather warms up

   Friendly pub and family warming with a great atmosphere. There’s plenty of things going on every night of the week. Huge playground for the kids to keep entertained on a sunny day. The weekends are always amazing with the live DJ and the dance floor is forever packed with everyone enjoying there time with the fairly priced drinks. The function room is a fair space to hold any venue from kids parties to weddings. The staff are friendly and always down for a laugh with the customers. Would not go anywhere else.
