A little away from bull ring. This pub serves standard beers at good value price. Can get a little busy at weekends friendly staff. Karaoke can be a little loud at times. Good place to watch horse racing have game of pool

Any pub run under Tammy, the new landlady, is a must go. Our local is wherever she is.

Craig from behind the bar is an absolutely nasty person,, actually came from behind the bar to start a fight with my husband, all my husband asked was how long it'll take to get served after waiting 20mins,,I'm disgusted at his language and attitude,he was actually wanting to hit him,,I'm a disabled woman in a wheelchair and my husband is my carer , imagine what would have happened if he'd actually hurt him,,avoid,,as it's a Saturday can't report to company but Monday morning, straight on the phone

Abosoulty shocking service the manager was very rude to me and my friend I asked for his name but wouldn't give us it and told us to leave whoever ever reads this review I would expect who ever deals with this to have a word with the manager he seemed to be intoxicated and every nasty and made me feel very uncomfortable

Albeit a smallish pub there is always a good pint at a very reasonable price. Staff are friendly as are the patrons, at least that's how I've found them over the last twenty or is it thirty odd years. The toilets are a little tight for space but that's the nature of the building however they are manageable. The pool table is always busy. Don't forget the price is right ! !
