About 10 people in the pub and still got our drinks in plastic cups,the old ones that spill out and the toilet absolutely stank and it spread into the pub,disgusting place

Steve, the landlord, was very helpful by allowing me to recharge my phone. Although extremely busy due to uni dress up day, the staff were friendly and chatty.
A welcoming pub on the Otley Run. Good friendly service. Plastic glasses, though.
Food was decent 12 quid for 2 meals, smallish portions but quite tasty, smelled not very nice inside toilet type smell, staff was very good and friendly.

First time visiting the pub an let me start by saying this I’ve spent many years in this industry an the chef is wasted in this place.. the food was spot on first class and plenty of it. The service however has plenty off room for improvement I asked for a drink that seemed to of never been heard off once we had seated ourselves at our table we had to guess was ours we was greeted with a sticky table food on the floor an dirty cutlery. The waiting staff an barmaids seem to be running round doing a lot but leave you sat waiting for condiments that you have to ask for 3 times, for you to then get told they forgot about you. There was no tissues in either of the toilets aswell. If you look past all of this an don’t mind rude staff that don’t have a clue.. I would visit the place again if only to offer the chef a position in a kitchen that I feel he’s worthy off.
The place was fine. I'm definitely not the clientele they're aiming to attract. I thought it had a smell of urinal cakes. Not the most welcoming smell. Not the most varied selection of beer.
If you like vertical drinking establishments, you'll give more stars than me!! It's a student's pub, TVs on every wall, loud music...&real ale !! Looks like it's had a recent makeover post pandemic, it's on The Otley Run, students love it, me..not so much
