Had the festive bottomless brunch. This was bought as a gift. The food and drinks were good, there was a good selection to choose from. The service was excellent . Liv and James in particular gave excellent service.

I had an excellent day and evening at The Dry Dock in Leeds, and it perfectly captured the spirit of a great British pub. The venue itself is unique β€” a converted boat on land β€” which immediately sets it apart and gives it a quirky, memorable atmosphere. During the day, it was relaxed and welcoming, ideal for enjoying a pint and some food with friends. The menu offered solid pub classics at very reasonable prices, and the drinks selection was broad, with plenty of beers and ciders on tap. As the evening rolled in, the atmosphere shifted into something livelier. Music, laughter, and the buzz of students and locals filled the space, making it a fun and energetic spot to spend the night. The staff were friendly throughout, keeping service quick even when the place was busy. What stood out most was the balance between value, atmosphere, and character. The Dry Dock isn’t just another pub β€” it’s a Leeds landmark, and spending both the day and evening there felt like experiencing two sides of its personality: laid‑back by day, vibrant by night. Overall, I’d highly recommend The Dry Dock to anyone visiting Leeds. Whether you’re after a casual daytime pint or a lively evening out, it delivers both with charm and consistency.

Eve is one of the most amazing bartenders i’ve ever met, kind and genuine (which can be hard to find!) She is absolutely lovely, and amazingly, knows all the words to the karaoke songs!! Such a fabulous person.

Booked for a Christmas meal, set us up on bar tables and blamed it on poor communication… when is it ever acceptable to eat a 3 course meal on a bar table. Not enough chairs so some of the party were sat on high bar stools for low tables. Sat at 7.30, mains came out at 9.30, deserts not till 10, and food was forgotten. Quiz was on at the same time and we weren’t informed in any of the communication so make sure you check their socials as we were right in the middle of it. Disappointed because we were very excited! Menu looked lovely!

What a nice gem in the heart of Leeds. Pub is across the road from the LBSU venue that hosts gigs. Stopped in before a show as pints are extremely well priced (being half that of the venue!) and was pleasantly surprised. Nice view of the city from the roof. Will be coming here again before a show.
