   Fabulous place, female led proper pub, great value drinks and everyone welcome, very safe place and really clean,, I go for an afternoon drink when normally bit quieter but have been in the evening and it's heaving and really good atmosphere, can't recommend it enough, don't go to massive chains, go here,well done Karen !

   City centre pub with a local village pub atmosphere. Visited at the weekend so I have no idea about week days. Lively with karaoke and a few characters to boot. Not a dress up place but a down to earth experience with great service and a fine selection of beers.

   Went on Friday night around 9am (4 of us). Asked the lady at the door if we could come in. She looked surprised like we'd walked up to her house asking to come in. She finally around and asked the other door man if they were allowing any more in and his response was 'f###ing h#ll!' as if he was a teenager who had been told he couldn't go out until he tidied his room. We didn't even wait for him to come back. We just went somewhere else. Shakey Wakey indeed

   I always enjoy it in here. If you like a pub where it is anything goes karaoke then this pub is for you. Very much a spit and sawdust environment but that is part of the charm. A place where you can really people watch is there is every kind of person in there. So always amusing and karaoke 7 nights a week.

   The worst experience of going to the toilet. Because the gents were flooded they were using the ladies. The one toilet had loo paper all over the seat. The other one no seat at all. They need a good clean as does the whole of the pub. It's a shame because it used to be a good night out. We will not be going back any time soon.

   Okay, so it's not everyone's cup of tea, or pot of beer, but there is something about this place. Yes it has had a reputation in the past, but now it's friendly and keeps a decent pint. Love the karaoke too, the regulars seem genuinely appreciative, even though I can't sing!
