At bottom of Westgate this small bar has great atmosphere. Good quality beer at reasonable price. A number of small rooms plus beer garden. We'll worth visit friendly staff.
Live in Leeds but staying at my daughters in Lupset for a week. Excellent pub great prices and friendly staff. Definitely recommend
Shocked to see the exterior has been butchered with an unsightly modern refurbishment. This is famously a heritage pub that shouldn’t fall victim to such fate. There are countless modern bars about that cater to such tastes. I was only driving past so didn’t get to go instead, I hope and pray that the interior hasn’t been spoilt as well.

Very nice traditional style pub. Hand pulled beer in on tap. A lot of small rooms to be in each with a TV with the volume low enough to ignore. Please note that this pub is cash only, no cards.

Nice old fashioned pub. The prices have been reduced significantly since this pub has reopened! Still a great traditional English pub in the true style. Great managers run the place. The drink are reasonably priced. Sky sports to watch as well!
Dog friendly, cosy traditional pub. Has a few different rooms with screens. Has sky sports and the staff were very friendly and put on a football game for us! There is a car park and a lovely beer garden.
