On westgate run a good bar with nice beer and good atmosphere. Good staff beer garden at front. Can watch sport or play pool.

Very friendly place, St George, bottle of beer down the neck...Lovely well presented food. Certainly the best public house on Westgate, infact Wakefield and the five towns would find it difficult to find a better place to have a good experience.

Very busy when I called but the bar staff handled it adequately. Sat outside in the "new" area. Lively crowd and as we were leaving a musical duo were setting up so I guess that would bring a few more punters.
The staff were friendly, polite and down to earth. Atmosphere was brilliant. Good music. Great choice for bottomless brunch which is what a group of us went for, for my birthday. Food was delicious, drinks were on constant tap. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Beer garden outside is great, we went on 1 of the hottest days. Free pool on a Tuesday. What more could u ask for? Would defo go again
