   I recently visited a Sunday carvery set inside a beautifully restored barn, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by warm wooden beams, soft lighting, and that cozy countryside atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The carvery itself was outstanding. The meats were cooked to perfection—tender roast beef, succulent turkey, and crispy pork with crackling that was chef’s kiss. The selection of sides was generous and fresh, from fluffy Yorkshire puddings and perfectly roasted potatoes to vibrant seasonal vegetables and rich homemade gravy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of what they do. Despite being busy, service felt smooth and welcoming. The barn setting added something truly special; it felt rustic yet elegant, making it a great spot for families, couples, or a laid-back Sunday gathering. If you’re looking for a hearty, high-quality Sunday roast in a charming rural setting, this barn carvery is an absolute must-try. I’ll definitely be returning!

   Absolutely loved the carvery, everything was on point with the food. Lovely setting, friendly and efficient staff will definitely be visiting again was well worth the money. I highly recommend and if I could I would have give 10 stars.

   We went to an excellent carvery on the Sunday. Superb value. There wad a choice of three meats. Vegetarian sausages available, too. The food was wonderful. There was lots of stalls selling locally made items on the day we went, which I believe happens once a month. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We were were not drinking alcohol, so can't comment on that, but there was a good choice of no-alcohol beers. We liked that there were activities for children, and the gardens around the pub were available, too. It's a really lovely looking pub. Toilets very clean. There was plenty of parking. We really hope to go back soon.

   Nice pub but feels a bit of a local's pub. Been in a few times after getting off the bus at the back of Asda. The prices and service aren't bad however bar staff do come across a bit cold/unfriendly and unwelcoming sometimes and often serve regulars first. They're friendly and chatty to regulars though (which all sit at the tables by the bar). The place was nicely decorated with Halloween decorations when I last went in which was a nice surprise. They also have sky sports too.

   I'm a regular in the High Farm Sarah and Simon always go out of there way to help us out and do nice thing for event. They started doing food on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday great value for money. The car very on a Sunday is also fab. It's a must visit.

   Sunday Carvery. The meats were brilliant full of flavour. Vegetables cooked just right , no overcooked cabbage! The price just goes to show that an excellent meal doesn't have to cost the earth. £6.00 per person is really top value
