Lovely local pub with good dining experience. Well known for its pies and generous servings; fantastic home cut chips. Attentive wait staff with a lovely demeanour. Recommended
Absolutely stunning Sunday lunch. Had a duo of meats ( pork and beef ) Red hot food and fresh vegetables with homemade Yorkies ! You won't go wrong eating here
Lovely place, really Good food, reasonably priced, every one of our party thouragly enjoyed. A couple of things were not available on the menu for us but it didn't really matter as we were looked after so well. The lady who served us is excellent, she was so friendley and attentive throughout. I would highly recommend the Fox and Hounds for a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere and great food.
Lovely customer service and delicious homemade pies and homemade chips! The log burner going was a really welcome addition to our visit.
The food was absolutely delicious,and the drinks were great as well. The restaurant has a lovely rustic feel, and the staff were friendly, polite and hardworking. I'll definitely be coming back, Highly recommend!!

Very friendly staff, fit us in without a reservation. Good drinks range. Lots of free parking. We walked out to Eccup and Golden Acre Park before eating, which made my Steak and Ale pie taste even better.
We went for a comedy night and had dinner before hand . The food was lovely, good size portions. Staff friendly and efficient. The comedy was excellent and for a free night I can highly recommend it.
Popped in on off chance and was made very welcome. Didn't have one of the roasts but opted for steak pie. Turned out to be a wise choice. Great short crust pastry.
The food was homemade and we enjoyed it a lot. A little pricy but it was worth it. The place was a little drafty and we would have loved it if the stove was on. It had some really nice touches, like the fresh flowers on the tables. The staff was very polite and kind as well. Overall, it's a lovely place that you need to visit. You won't regret it! We will be coming back soon.
