Great pub at bottom end of Westgate. Good beer and atmosphere. Good size beer garden can watch sports on tv or Pool table available.
Disgraceful behavior of staff, especially the shaven tattooed misogynistic guy who refused a nationally recognised ID (citizen card) for a 25yr old autistic person.
Warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. The atmosphere is amazing and the landlady is so lovely. You want a great place to enjoy a pint and a laugh, then this is the place to be
Great boozer. In another ten years I doubt there will be many proper pubs like this still open. Enjoy while you can.

What a great little pub . Ian and the staff are so friendly . Cant do enough for you . Free pool on tuesdays goes down a treat with the service users from pontefract family centre . Ian knows us all by name ' as they do him . Its a pleasure to visit and a warm welcome is always guaranteed.
