   We went for a bottomless brunch and this review was going to be a 2 star one, until Damien (the manager) step in to take over the event. It was my girlfriends birthday and for the first 30 mins of the drunk she didn't get a drink because the barmaid kept bringing her the wrong drink and then saying we had too many drinks already on the table. This is when Damien stepped in because we asked for the manager and he was amazing, at one point we had 4 drinks each because he was bringing them so fast, he then gave us shots (that weren't supposed to be included) and brought us a extra 2 pizzas.

   Two of my party went out for a smoke and I talked to a lady who was stood at the table next to me and the bar staff cleaned my drink. I was told that despite my drink being full, that I should’ve had a better eye on my drink. Highly disrespectful staff and do not recommend unless you want to pay for two drinks. Spoke to your staff and they were all very unhelpful. Even though my party had around 12 people around my table I was told they cannot get me a new drink even though they cleared my half an Aperol spritz and two pints of Camden Hells that were both over half a pint. Disgusting service and would absolutely not go back. Unless you want to be robbed!

   It's a decent venue for a party. They do nice pizzas. It was a shame a few beers were off even though they knew they had a party coming. The bouncers can be so miserable and rude for no reason.

   It's a nice place is this. I didn't have food but it looked nice and the aroma was appetising. The bar feels very modern, with all the arty stuff people like. Comfortable furnishings and atmosphere. Toilets are miles away, but there's plenty of old architecture to look at on the way (if you've not had too many lagers) Service was a bit impersonal for me, though the staff were nice enough. Great place...not exactly my type of venue, but it does it's job and is a great fixture on the Wakefield circuit.

   Didn't go into the bar but into a room at the back for a psychic evening. Glasses were filthy , and i mean filthy. Toilets disgusting. No paper/soap.The two flights up to the toilets were bare and grubby looking.The place looked and smelled like a derelict house. Disgusting place.

   Despite the fact that I was dressed like a man in his 30s, the fact that I was wearing Nike trainers with ‘bubbles’ in, this was the deal-breaker for the bouncer. This was due to the fact that allegedly, this was ‘chavvy, and made me a roadman!’ I queued 30 minutes to be told that. Absolute shed of an ‘establishment’ don’t waste your money! The only thing established is the fact I shan’t be returning.

   Turned up at 1730 on a Friday night, bouncer said they were 'closed' even though was clearly people stood drinking inside. Bearing in mind I was sober and on my own just waiting for friends. He looked me up and down and said 'you're not coming in in them anyway' referring to my Air Max. Sorry what? It's half 5 on a quiet Friday night in Wakefield mate, this isn't London? Anyway I went to Hogarths and my group of 10+ turned up, probably spent about £100 up the road, and they actually had the World Cup on so he's done us a favour really.

   One of our favourite bars in Wakefield for drinks and ambience. But not once have we been able to order a pizza. Several times we have tried, the staff just say "all the dough we have is reserved for people on a bottom-less brunch". Whilst we completely understand saving enough for these customers, it just makes no sense. Why advertise on boards (and in menus) in store individual pizzas, but never have the capacity to serve them????

   Its a stylish looking bar and has a vintage interior look inside. We attended an event there so we werent in the main bar but the room we were in was a large space and bar. The staff were really friendly and quick to serve you and the drinks werent badly priced my only issue you was there weren't any non alcoholic drinks apart from soft drinks and the only thing I could have was water as I cant have sugar or caffeine. The event was really good and I would consider attending more events there in the future however my other issue were the toilets and near the toilets, there was a very strong smell of urine which wasn't pleasant and was off putting too. But overall a nice bar apart from the 2 issues mentioned
