Visited after work with a bunch of colleagues from Manchester and Leeds. Everyone was suitably impressed by (i) the quality and variety of drinks on tap (ii) the decor (iii) the prices and (iv) the 'mood'. I cannot recall the last time I visited a bar or pub in a city centre that I was actually looking forward to going back to this much. For clarity, the food rating, if visible here, relates to drinks as that's all we did!

This is an an excellent and friendly pub located close to Leeds town centre.the staff are good and very friendly.the toilets are down in the basement which might be awkward for some people. Also downstairs there is a pool table are some more seating.the old bank vault is an interesting feature.

It looks like someone spent a lot of money to create a polished, old-fashioned style pub with gorgeous dark panelling, gentle lighting and sumptuous booths. The staff are quick and knowledgeable, and with it located right close to the Leeds Train Station it’s a very convenient place to wait comfortably for your train. I make a point to stop here whenever I’m travelling though Leeds.

Fantastic Thornbridge pub with a great selection of real ale on draft and keg. The beer is good but the staff aren’t great. I was poured a pint with a very large head once and on most occasions staff aren’t very engaging or knowledgeable. There is only one chap who was on shift Wednesday evening who was very friendly, knowledgeable about the beer, the brewery and poured a really good pint. We had the Green Mountain which was on good form and poured perfectly.

Spotted this CAMRA 2023 beer guide pub by chance. Beautiful converted bank selling great beer. Really impressive interior. Had a pint of Swanney Scapa Special. First visit and hope to be back. One of many great real ale bars near the mainline station. Well worth a visit says Casta.
