I attended on 21/07/25 for my daughter’s birthday lunch. We arrived early for our booking and were met with a friendly warm welcome, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and views. Upon ordering the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and included fresh produce, even down to the fresh mint served with my chocolate dessert. The atmosphere was excellent and between courses it was good to be able to move around and go outside and it was not rushed at all. It was noticed on arrival that it was my daughters birthday (she was wearing a birthday badge) and was wished happy birthday, when it came to ordering dessert they went out of their way (unbeknown to us) and made her a dessert delivered on a board with birthday greetings, this was so thoughtful and nice. Would like to say a big thank you to the staff team on duty for such a lovely experience and to the chef for the excellent food and presentation. This is one place I will highly recommend and will be visiting again.
Really decent pub food presented in a lovely way, the staff were really helpful and friendly. There are very nice views of the surrounding countryside. Outside seating is available also. I had the pea falafel and lentil Shepard's pie which I thoroughly enjoyed. My girlfriend had the lamb which she said was cooked with care and really liked it. Would recommend. Also came here years ago and the standards have not slipped.
Decent parking. Comforting feel inside. Food was lovely. High chairs provided and children plate and cutlery was very hand. Staff friendly. Has toilets and baby changing area. Price was decent. Had dog treats and bowls in entrance. And even blankets. Lovely place.
Beautiful location! The food was amazing and it was topped off by one of the best desserts I have ever had!! Had the Camembert bites for the starter, Hunters Chicken for mains and Chocolate flower pot for the dessert. Highly recommended for an afternoon lunch ! Staff were all in tune with each other and provided a 5Star customer service all afternoon. Will certainly be returning!!
Very nice and cosy pub which is totally dog friendly. You can get water for your dog and you can even buy a meal for it. Mine liked the sausages. I liked the chicken and pancetta pie. They also serve good Ale like Doom Bar. We had a very pleasant meal with friends. Would recommend and come again.
Lovely pub and food. My partner had an unexpected day off work, and I decided to take him out for lunch. We booked a table online and arrived early to have a pre-meal drink and enjoy the views from the beer garden. We then went for our meal, which was lovely. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit.
Absolutely beautiful food and atmosphere. Holly, our waitress, was very polite and the service was outstanding. Will definitely go back.
