A hidden gem! Passed this place so many times and quite glad I took the time to visit. Great staff and friendly locals make this a more than welcoming place. Lovely internal features and a cracking view to the back. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price....A deffo return visit is in order!

We recently had our beautiful mum's wake at this wonderful gem and we will always be filled with so much gratitude for lovely Kat and her team. During what has been such a desperately sad time, Kat has been so kind and helpful and nothing has been too much trouble. Our loved ones were able to gather in such welcoming surroundings and share our beloved memories. We were also treated to a vast selection of delicious food and a wide range of drinks. We very much look forward to visiting again during happier times. Thank you so so much.

I've past this pub so many times and never thought once of going in, until today. Went in today after a service at the crematorium to say our goodbyes to our wonderful neighbour x. The landlords put on a lovely spread for family and friends. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. They were also very welcoming. The pub is so nice and toilets spotless. Also there's a cricket pitch behind the pub. Look forward to going back, especially in the summer to have a beer, relax and watch the cricket. Great pub xx.

Lovely pub. It was great to have the pub to ourselves until 4pm for my dad's wake. Really friendly, excellent service, good food. Love the open fire. Would recommend

Fabulous friendly pub. Warm, clean, airy, now modernised with open fire in centre of room toilets new down stairs. Was at our friends funeral you couldn't ask for a nicer place food fabulous. Land lady and staff so welcoming will be back to visit when over from Driffield.

Wonderful friendly pub in which we found ourselves on a very wet day. The fire was roaring, the pub warm and friendly and the beer was perfect. Must mention the incredible new toilets! Seriously good facilities. A great pub to visit and enjoy. Highly recommend.
