Have eaten there on several occasions during recent weeks The pub is warm with real fires. The food is good and the staff are lovely and helpful On the downside there seems to be more delays on the food recently and can be 45 minutes or more from ordering your food. Another small.point is that the ladies toilet, tho very nice and clean.......are freezing brrrrrrr.
It's very small and can get crowded quickly but a generally friendly little local. They very kindly allowed me to watch the F1 on the TV in there when it was quiet one Sunday afternoon. The regulars weren't quite so accommodating when the premiership football started and it was made clear they'd be switching over whether I objected or not. There are hand-pulled ales available which were reasonably well-kept. I don't think they accepted card payment.
