   Great night at the Vine on 6 Dec. BB King's were performing, & they were perfect for the environment. We had the cocktail Tree at £100 for 12, which would have been better value if we had been able to select our favourites. As it was, there were 4 that no one like (Advocaat & fizz possibly?) so a waste. Beyond that the Mngr & staff were brilliant, super efficient & charming.

   A woman went on a racist rant after one too many drinks as she left Vine Bar in Halifax. She paid for it with the loss of her job, a police caution, newspaper headlines and online humiliation after the doorman's footage was posted online. No need for a quiet word, an apology and/or barring these days at Vine Bar! Please ensure your behaviour is impeccable.

   Excellent afternoon tea. We had afternoon tea here as part of a hen do. All the food was excellent, I had a vegetarian selection, four others had the regular choice. I liked the fact there was a big selection of savoury food, as sometimes there can be too many desserts. Service was also excellent, with a call bell on the table for drinks and service. All the waiters were super efficient. To summarise, it was excellent and I would definitely recommend this place.
