   Is Ted Baker going under?? There were very tacky clearance sale posters everywhere, it looked like carpet right when they went into administration. All the staff were miserable and didn’t get the usual can we help with anything question. Very brand damaging to Ted Baker if this is just a regular sale, it’s put me off them now

   Spent £300 in Ted Baker the other day. One item, a sweatshirt on sale from £85 down to £42 was unexpectedly destroyed on a low temperature wash and on my attempt to return it for a refund or exchange, Ted Baker employees were consistently rude and made no attempt to make up for the failure of their product, through refund, full or partial, exchange or a gift card. The item had no clear indication that this would happen apart from the small inside label, no tags, stickers or mention of any kind by any staff as a heads up. Instead, upon returning to store a third time after being promised a refund by customer care, the in-store team still told that they took no responsibility and was acted towards in bad faith. In their words ‘can we do something to help’ means nothing, and the deputy store manager, too irresponsible and weak to give his name, threatened me with security escorting me from the premises despite no raised voice or rudeness from my behalf. Unfortunately there is only one thing this Company cares about is their bottom line. I would strongly advise against trusting this brand in the future and will not be putting my faith in them again.

   Had the worst customer experience ever. Dealt with an extremely rude manager who hurled personal insults at my wife when she asked with regards to a damaged item. Female manager was unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. Refused to provide names and removed my wife from the store - without any valid reason. Looking at reviews, it seems evident that this behaviour is repetitive. I would strongly advise to avoid this Ted Baker store at all costs.

   Not usually one to write reviews but my experience was so shocking I feel I need to. I went to pay for a dress using Apple Pay and was told my payment didn't go through, even though it came up as accepted on my phone. I was told that would come back as a refund and that I had to pay again. I did. I waited a few days following this and the money had not been returned. I then tried to call the store over 30 times at varying times over the course of 2 weeks and didn't manage to get through to ask them to refund the first inadvertent payment over the phone. I even emailed head office to see if they could help, to which they responded they had no method to contact their own store other than the phone number and that they couldn't refund from other stores. How a head office can have no oversight of their own stores I don't know?!?! I finally managed to get through to a manager, who said I would have to come into store to get this resolved. I live over an hour away. He said they had changed their system to mean they couldn't take bank information over the phone. Begrudgingly, I came into store to get the refund. The lady on the till said they couldn't find a receipt for the first payment in the till so there's nothing she could do, so I had to lose out on the money. The amount taken was over £140.
