   Having your kitchen totally renewed is a big deal, especially to those of us who have no DIY experience. But once Elite Kitchens came in to our lives our fears were totally alleviated. The process was discussed, the design agreed and a faultless schedule created. Connor’s approachability and professionalism was by far the best I have ever come across and it runs throughout the whole Elite Kitchens team, Chris, Ed and Amy. We also want to compliment the trades, all of which were excellent and helped us with a major issues which cropped up ( our boiler gave up the ghost ). Nothing was too much trouble and they all take such a great pride in their work. So the finished item is absolutely stunning and works so efficiently, if you’re thinking of a new kitchen, get in touch with Elite Kitchens, you will not regret it.

   A lengthy review, but warranted for an excellent experience with Elite Kitchen Designs. I started as a new home owner, with no experience of how to even approach the idea of a new kitchen. I looked at Wren, Howdens, IKEA, Magnet - and had mixed feelings, because although they were decent options, most were dependent on the competence and professionalism of the installer. Some had a good experience but others were badly disappointed. I am now retired, I’ve bought what I think is my last property, and wanted a really top-notch kitchen, without the worry of the dealing with contractors that may not be wholly accountable to the vendor. Elite are a different proposition. They have a small showroom (which is great to visit) and from the outset, I felt that I was personally engaged and valued. Ed spent the time to walk me through options: he did ask about my budget (a good thing), so that we were in the same “realistic” ball park, but then took the time to scope options, both on cost, the cabinets and worktops, as well as appliances. After the initial visit I had questions, and Ed/Amy were only too happy to take the time to talk me through my concerns. I then received a home visit, with Connor (fitter) in attendance, followed by a CAD proposal on the layout, and a further consultation (personally, in the showroom) on final choices. I was reassured that the kitchen fitter, plumber, and electrician are NOT out-sourced: they work as a team within Elite and know how they each work. The installation was well organised. Ed produced a schedule showing each activity, which was invaluable, as I had other contractors doing additional work around the property. The final product is really beyond my expectations. Chris fitted the kitchen and it really is immaculate in every way. The quality of the cabinets was outstanding, and the fitting was perfect: shut lines on cabinets, soft closure, levels, cleanliness, etc. Chris spent 4 days installing a relatively small kitchen (it’s a 3 bed detached house) so you can gauge the attention to detail. The final part of the process was a ”get to know your kitchen” visit by Ed. We spent an hour going through every detail of the cabinets and appliances, supported by an information folder with all relevant documentation, warranty information, etc. How to summarise? If you want personal engagement with what for all of us is a considerable investment, then look no further. The key selling points for me were: great reviews for an award-winning small company, it was local (so I could pop in and bug them!), and, most critically, they knew and trusted the team that would actually do the work. Payments were also staged, providing real assurance that everything was on track and correct as we moved through the process. My best advice is to simply give them a ring, pop down to the showroom and have a chat.

   I can't rate this company enough. Paul and all his staff have been amazing from start to finish. Helping right from the design stage at the beginning creating visuals and giving advice on products to an excellent fit and very high quality finish with all the products provided. I knew they were good as a family member had used them years ago and the kitchen still looked like new but how good they were was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend Paul and his staff to anyone!
