As an FYI to anyone thinking of booking, the list of what’s included in their “full service” on their website is not actually carried out. I am extremely skeptical of this place for two reasons now. 1) I saw a price online for a full service and MOT, called up to book and the person on the phone told me a similar price for both services as included. When walking in the next day for my appointment I was then told by someone else a complete different price and said the website was wrong. I appreciated them honoring my initial quoted price and saw it as a mistake but now I’m starting to think they were trying their luck. 2) there are certain things in the full service list on their website I have realised have not been carried out, so now I’m skeptical if anything has actually been done. I called up to ask if these were included, they checked and asked when I came in / my reg. they said it wasn’t included and that the website was wrong. So now you have TWO problems with your website? For things that are usually included in a FULL SERVICE AS PAYED FOR? I don’t know exactly what’s gone on here, maybe it’s incompetency or maybe you see me as a fool, but if it’s dishonesty, which is what it’s currently looking like, that’s a reflection on you, your business and your sin to answer for.
I recently had my first MOT and service done on my first car at this garage, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Raj, the manager, was incredibly thorough and explained everything clearly. She took the time to explain me the issues and discuss the best solutions. The work was completed efficiently, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend this garage, especially with Raj's excellent management.
I have been taking my cars to Jeff for a few months now, and he is always friendly, accommodating, honest, and thorough. Recently my check engine light went on, and it turned out to just be a gas cap issue, so he reset the system for free. I definitely recommend this place!!
Highly recommended! Their quote for an alternator for our super old Highlander we are just trying to inch along was very fair, and they were able to get us in same day AND have it done quickly! We will be back when we need repairs on our cars!
Couldn’t believe to have such an outclass and Professional garage in Birmingham. They know what they are doing. Price is so cheap in such a competitive market. Work is done with high quality standards. You can relax while you cat is fixed. Staff was friendly and Proffesional and this place is highly recommended for your car repairs.
I visited Smart Mot with a transmission issue with my Mercedes-Benz and the team were totally amazing. Their customer care and support was great, keeping me informed of my vehicle repair every step of the way. Initially I was provided with a diagnostic assessment. From which a clear cost of repair was agreed and this was by far competitive, compared to other repair shops. There was no pressure to go forwards with the work, and I was provided with the time to check other quotations, online and via telephone. I contacted Smart Mot the following day and scheduled the repair. I was provided with the option to have a replacement vehicle for the day. The mechanic contacted me on two occasions during the day, firstly to update me on progress and secondly to secure authorisation of required parts. On the evening I collected my vehicle, it was valeted and washed. The mechanic went through methodically, what work had been done with clear explanation of costs and associated time. If you have continued reading this far. I would say be rest assured Smart Mot will work with you and get you back on the road. In the future I will be returning back and recommending Smart Mot to my family and friends.
Used these guys today for an MOT and was really happy. Clearly well organised business and really friendly people. First time I’ve used this place found them on Google but won’t be the last. I waited with the car and was working whilst waiting so could see everything through the workshop from outside and the staff are clearly careful with peoples cars and take pride in their work.
