   My 911 turbo had been parked up for two years and would not start , having read their reviews I telephoned zugfenhaus and spoke to Andy he sent one of guys to my house and diagnosed the DFI pump was at fault They even toed and pushed the car onto the trailer with me what a bunch of nice guys so helpful, would not get this kind of service elsewhere. Andy telephoned me gave me a full sp on the works required gave me plenty of time to decide , gave the go ahead , when the car was ready I was unable to pick up the car due to ill health they had no issues or problems with this. Andy kept me informed throughout. Picked up the car met Matt and his team , I found everybody friendly , helpful and approachable and honest it felt like we had known each other for years. I highly recommend this Porsche garage . I won’t be going elsewhere!!’n

   Disappointing – my car was booked in for a coolant change with Zuffenhaus, I mentioned at the time I wanted it done before a 2000 mile trip through Europe as the coolant had not been changed previously. They called out at the time it would be needed for a couple of days so they could ensure the system was fully bled, so I dropped the car off Wednesday afternoon to pick up Friday afternoon. On Friday I called mid-morning for an update, which was it hadn’t been started yet because they were waiting on a part (the car had been booked in well in advance so this was somewhat surprising)…a few hours later, I got a call to confirm it was done and ready to pick up…that was quick! When I got home, after an hour of driving, I let the car idle on the driveway and soon noticed the heater was not giving out any heat, I also noticed the front radiators, according to an infrared temperature gun, were only 40 degrees. After letting the car cool down, the coolant level was well below minimum and over the weekend, and a number of heat cycles, I added 2.5 litres of coolant which eventually got the heater working. On Monday, I rang up Zuffenhaus to let them know I wasn’t happy and that they would need the car back to confirm all was OK. They took the car back, and less than 48 hours it was ready again. When asked about if it was now all ok, I was informed the heater was giving heat (it was doing that already), they’d put a bit of coolant in but they couldn’t check the radiators as they had no way to do that…so in short, not a lot had been done apart from getting back a dusty car covered in finger prints and at no point was an apology given for not doing the job properly (it’s a 2 hour round trip each way). If I hadn’t done a job properly the first time, the least I would be doing would be fully checking the car to ensure it was fully sorted and apologising to the customer for wasting another 4 hours of their time. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail doesn’t end there. When I got home, I noticed that the grill/fan cover had not been put back on and had been left where the convertible hood sits (see attached image…luckily it wasn’t squashed when I put the roof down), and there was also a dent that was not previously on the car near the coolant filler.

   Great service. Phoned 5pm as my Boxster roof wouldn’t close, booked me in first thing next morning and got it closed for me (no cost). Michael showed me the broken rods that needed replacing and some shields that had come adrift. Booked in following week. In at 8.30 and away at 9.30 as if been told, all working nicely and cleaned up the channels too. Definitely returning for a service in the spring which you can wait in the large room upstairs with settees and table/chairs so you can use lap top.

   Before buying a Porsche, I searched for an independent specialist in the West Midlands and was fortunate to find Zuffenhsus and Paul. He is a real enthusiast and is clearly very knowledgable. He spent a great deal of time patiently answering my newbie questions and giving me a good insight on what to look out for. I can now search for my ideal 987 with confidence that Paul and his team at Zuffenhsus will be there to look after it for me.
